Creative ColorPro

I have always been attracted to the creative process of transforming an image (or anything) that is dull and unexciting to something beautiful and visually appealing.  This magnetic passion has led to over 25 years of professional working experience in the Graphic Arts, Prepress, Fine Art, and Digital Imagery business.

I started this process in the early 90's as a studio film photographer specializing in food and product photography.  Over several years I learned the art of lighting and product composition.

My love of computers led me to the prepress and printing side of the business.  I started working in Photoshop 2.0 and was immediately hooked.  For the next 15 years, I worked in high-end image retouching, color correcting, drum scanning and commercial printing.  As a Digital Imaging Specialist, I worked on cover images for publications such as Food & Wine, Elle, Seventeen, and Allure.

For 10 years I worked for Somerset Fine Art as the Director of Print Production/Color Specialist.  I managed and maintained all aspects of Fine Art Giclée Canvas and Paper printing, color corrected digital files to match the original paintings, combined and manipulated multiple source images into one composite image for artists references.

It was at Somerset that I perfected  my skills in art reproduction and color correcting.  I worked with such artists as G.Harvey, Martin Grelle, Andy Thomas, and Rod Chase.
